"Mythistoriography: 2016-2026 - What? From Hotel National to Six Minutes More"
As part of the wider political support of culture by Thanos Hotels & Resorts Group, Amyth of Nicosia organizes a separate literary evening dedicated to the ten-year novel route of Stavros Christodoulou.
The event, titled "Mythoriography: 2016-2026 - From Hotel National to Six minutes further", will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 19:00, at Amyth of Nicosia, and focuses on the writing course of the Cypriot prose, highlighting the key themes and narrative axes that have been going through his work in the last decade.
At the event, the author will be interviewed by author Julia Ganasou and editor of publications Poppi Moupayagezi. Literary readings will also be shown by actors Karyofylia Karabetis and Andreas Koutsofta.
The duration of the event will be an hour.

A few words about the author
Stavros Christodoulou released his first novel, Hotel National in 2016 from Kaledi Publications. From Kastaniotis Publications his books are released The day the river froze (2018), Three steps History (2020), Black Flamingo (2023) and Six minutes more (2025). The book The day the river froze was awarded the European Union Literature Award (EUPL) 2020 and the Cyprus State Novel Award for 2018 editions. His books have been translated and released in Romania, Albania, Serbia and Bulgaria. His stories have been included in anthologies and collective works, such as the French-speaking anthology Le Grand Tour / Self-portrait of Europe by its authors (Ed. Grassset, 2022).
