Kaliana are preparing to welcome for the second year the Kattimerkou Festival, a celebration honoring the Cypriot tradition, the flavors of the place and the warm hospitality of the village. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 16:00 in the afternoon, the village square fills with aromas, music and smiles, inviting young and old to an authentic experience.
The protagonist of the day is none other than the favorite house, the traditional Cypriot bond that we have all associated with family moments and celebrations. Along with katimerca and zivania, visitors will have the opportunity to taste flavors of the place and come closer to local culture.
The event continues at night with a musical performance, where the traditional and folk program with Eleni Mavroudis is expected to cheer up and set up a genuine Cypriot festival.
