Cultural Summer 2026: Music, theatre and dance fill the Warriors

Six free events with favorite artists, theatre performances, dance events and children's theatre include this year's program of the Municipality of Palmidia
With a rich programme of events combining music, theatre, dance and family entertainment, the Municipality of Palmidia welcomes "Cultural Summer 2026", inviting the public to enjoy unique cultural evenings with free entrance.
The events start on 19 June and will take place mainly at the Outdoor Theatre "Marios Tokas" in Lower Warriors, while one of the actions will be hosted at the Cultural Events Hall "Mikis Theodorakis" in Upper Warriors.
The curtain opens on Friday 19 June, at 20:30, with the music evening "The Great Songs", a tribute to great Greek creators such as Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hatzidakis, Stavros Xarchakos and Marios Tokas. The renowned artists Despina Olympia and Kostas Hadjichristodoulou perform under the musical direction of Constantine Zorpa, with the participation of the Choir of the Municipality of Waridia.
On 25 June, the theatre group "Characters" takes the stage with the comedy "Pansion the Paradise", a performance full of misunderstandings, twists and plenty of laughter. The case unfolds in an old Athens boarding house, where heroes get involved in an unpredictable pursuit of lost property.
The program continues on Monday, June 29th with the dance performance of the "Duo Flower Antros" School, which promises a trip to Cypriot and Greek tradition through favorite dances, music and images.
On Thursday, July 2nd, the audience will have the opportunity to attend the performance "The Square" from the Antilogue Theatre. It is a contemporary theatrical production that combines music, humor and social concerns, highlighting timeless values such as friendship, solidarity and collective responsibility.
The children's performance "The Happy Prince" by Yolanda Christodoulou, which will be presented on Sunday, July 5th, at 11:00 a.m. Based on Oscar Wilde's classic fairy tale, the production carries important messages of love, offering and solidarity, while after the end of the performance a painting workshop for children will follow.
The curtain of this year's Cultural Kalokeri falls on Monday, July 6, with the musical performance "Say you met me one night in a dream", a tribute to the great Greek composer Giannis Spanos. The artistic curation is signed by Michael Purgourides, while Helena Giannakos and Christos Selilis will be on stage, framed by exceptional musicians.
With all events offered free to the public, the Municipality of Palmidia confirms its commitment to promoting culture and quality entertainment, offering a summer full of art, creation and beautiful moments for young and old.
