Streets, neighborhoods and open spaces on the island turn into a large free music festival, within the framework of the world institution Make Music Day
The Make Music Cyprus Festival returns this year, bringing with it three days full of music, live performances and creative energy. From 19 to 21 June, Cyprus participates again in the international institution of Make Music Day, held simultaneously in more than 120 countries and 1,000 cities worldwide.
On the slogan that music belongs to everyone, the festival gives room to musicians of all ages and genres — from professionals and bands to students, choirs and independent artists — to go on the streets and share their music with the public. Events will be free, creating an open celebration that unites people, cities and different musical genres through the same pulse.
Make Music Cyprus is based on the philosophy of the French Fête de la Musique, the great music festival that began in 1982 and evolved into one of the greatest world music events.
